A Call to Action: Glass Steagall Now -- This Week

Lyndon LaRouche has called upon the LaRouche Policy Committee, leading candidates and former candidates endorsed by this Political Action Committee and representing all sections of the U.S. population, to assemble in Washington D.C. this week with one mandate: forcing Glass Steagall through the Congress now. They will be joined in this Week of Action by citizen delegations from several states. Their success depends also on what you do to support this action.

The world financial system is blowing up and people are dying as a result of the austerity regimes imposed to bail the bankers out. We stand on the verge of World War III as a result of Barack Obama's targeting of Russia and China, at the behest of his British controllers -- the Middle East flashpoint is in flames.

Last week Senators Warren, McCain, Cantwell, and King followed the lead of Senator Tom Harkin by introducing a second Glass/Steagall bill into the Senate. HR 129, the House bill to restore Glass Steagall now has 70 co-sponsors. As opposed to decades of "going along to get along," some members of Congress are beginning to respond to reality and LaRouche is determined to re-educate them, through the Policy Committee, concerning the necessary steps to reverse President Obama's British-directed destruction of our nation. Glass Steagall and a Hamiltonian credit policy, reversing the physical destruction of our economy, are the first urgent steps upon which the future of civilization depends.

Here is what you can do:

1. Call and write your Senator and Representatives, demand that they meet with LaRouche Policy Committee representatives in Washington this week, and that they sign onto and pass Glass/Steagall now. Let us know that you did so, and email infolarouchepac@gmail.com or post your report here.

2. Call and write your state legislators and tell them to sign on to the letter being circulated by 18 state legislators calling on Congress to act. Contact our national center at 1-800-929-7566 to see what else you can do in your state. Lawmakers in South Dakota, Maine, Indiana, and Alabama have passed resolutions urging the return of Glass/Steagall. Resolutions are pending in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, and Delaware.

3. Watch for developments on the LaRouchePAC website, beginning with today's Policy Committee show with Mr LaRouche and continuing throughout the week. Forward this email to a friend, and use Facebook and every social media tool at your disposal. Call your friends and relatives and get them active.
